Thigns to do in Ocean City, Maryland
I get a ton of vacationers in the summer who book me for photos, and usually 90% of the time they ask me for my favorite; restaurants, shops, activities, sight seeing, etc.
Soo I decided to create a little list/guide of some of my favorite places and things to do in the Ocean City Maryland area as a local!

FOOD
Breakfast Options in the OCMD area that I love:
My top choice would be Barn 34 .. they have great food especially breakfast, but if you’re visiting in the peak of summer expect a long wait! But I promise it’s worth it. One of my favorite items on the menu is the Captain Crunch French Toast, and I add all the available fruit options on top!
My other favorite choice is Bad Monkey, they have a West OC and 58th street location! Their bread is made in-house and the food is ON POINT! They are usually our go-to option for breakfast or dinner! Any item on the menu will be yummy!
… now, there are people who LOVE breakfast and people who don’t love it and just need a little bite to get them by, I will admit I am more of a coffee shop, small bite type of girl! So here are my favorite coffee shops and things I order!
Coffee Shops in OCMD area (that I love) that are not Starbucks or Dunkin ;)
First .. Rise Up , located in West OC! Their coffee and burritos are bomb! I usually order a medium iced latte with half caramel and half white mocha, made with almond milk! My go-to burrito is the “rise up” burrito. Ps they are known for their amazing coffee smoothies (try the caramel or Cinnamon Toast Crunch).
My other favorite local coffee shop is On What Grounds? in Berlin, MD (right outside of west oc). Every coffee i’ve had there has been awesome! Their breakfast sandwiches are great too!
Finally, a new spot in town called “The Stoke” has great coffee.. and their avocado toast???? so freaking good!!! Plus this business is a great spot if you like to workout and do yoga & guided classes! The classes are great, I try to go often!
Lunch & Snack options
Surfin Betty’s Burger Bar, the best cheeseburger. I get the bettys burger + cheddar cheese every time. My 1.5yr old son gets the kids burger with cheese and tears it up! Plus their fries and milkshakes are amazing.
Pablos Bowls are my favorite açaí bowls and wheatgrass shots!
Thrashers French Fries on the boardwalk…. best fries!
Fishers popcorn (get the caramel popcorn… especially when its hot, the caramel sticks the popcorn together and its sooooo amazing.)
Tailchasers.. yummy food & apps, perfect for lunch or dinner, plus there’s a great area for kids to play!
Shotti’s Point, a solid lunch spot!
The juicebox in Ocean View has super yummy sandwiches & juices.
Quickies mini donuts and coffee - right on the boardwalk, their little donuts are so dang good!

Dinner places I love in OC area:
Touch of Italy, great Italian restaurant, ps most of their portions are HUGE..
Ropewalk.. mainly seafood, but a great bayside option with a fun play area for kids!
Hooked, (as seen in the pic above) gorgeous plates, and the taste is just as good! I love just about everything i’ve had there.. and tbh i’ve had the whole menu LOL!
Panchos & Leftys - upscale mexican type food, I love their table side guac!
Blu Crabhouse - Super yummy spot if you’re looking to get steamed crabs!
Sterling Tavern - A chill vibe in Berlin MD, we love getting their happy hour when we don’t feel like cooking! Their outdoor patio area is great!
The Atlantic Hotel - Also in Berlin MD, super cute spot with indoor and outdoor seating, a fancy and yummy menu! Great for an anniversary dinner!
